    Hello everyone,

Having a case of the dumbies, took down my R1 plus to prepare for the installation of an E3D V6 head and payed attention to everything but the routing of the wire tie that is used to tension the belt. Anybody have any pictures I am not having any luck figuring this out. I know I'm going to feel dumb when I see the routing but the old brain aint working today. Thanks in advance

You can reattach it however you want. They way I have mine attached you can adjust tension by adjusting one ziptie.

Hope this helps; blurry because it's running. Took mine apart for the same reason, but put it back the way it came:[IMG]

If can tell in the pic, belt goes over the square part of the carriage; zip tie goes through the hole in that square, and wraps around the belt on both sides (left and right in relation to this pic).

Sounds like plucking a guitar string. It's not an exact science, but there seems to be a decent window of tolerance from the sweet spot. @MikeKelly designed an awesome modular x carriage that has a great way of adjusting belt tension. No more zip ties. I love these innovations.
