Is there a setting in the firmware for the hotend extruder's motor's speedrate? I plan to increase the filament feed speed (only this motor's speed).

#define DEFAULT_MAX_ACCELERATION {9000,9000,100,10000} // X, Y, Z, E maximum start speed for accelerated moves. E default values are good for Skeinforge 40+, for older versions raise them a lot.

This is the only extruder speed variable I see (and it is technically acceleration, not speed)

I suppose the question is why do you want to increase the extruder speed ? Are you under extruding ?

Thanks guys. Ill go over all the advise. Well, Ive been playing around my PLA. Its an old one which makes it really bad for use. But I kinda found a way to actually make it work. I increased the hotend temp to 230 and increased the speed rate cus my prints are like bare bones. Thos filament was barely used so kinda feel waste if not used.
