I have been printing lately and I have noticed that there are vertical ribs or columns in my prints that are quadrilaterals. Here are some pictures. They are worse on some parts more than others

I would start with over-extrusion (calibrate extruder).
Is this an R1+ or an R1? Any upgrades?

R1 plus with an LCD from printed solid.
    Will try this later

OK, well the R1+ rules out the banding issue that the older models had at least. SO it is a fixable thing.

Domenic - Let us know if anything changes after you calibrate the extruder as recommended by Mark.

I have an R1+ and what you're seeing is excessive.

Once you have verified the extruder is pulling in the proper length of filament when commanded, I'd want to know what the results are when printing a cube. Are ribs produced on all vertical faces, or just two opposite walls? Take note of which direction the worst wall is facing before removing the print.

The fact that the ribs seem to be evenly spaced would make me suspect a mechanical issue rather than a slicer setting.

so i did the test and it is one centimeter off. Which means it stopped 1cm before 100mm

So it only extruded 90 mm?
Then you e-steps needs to increase by 11%
And you sliced it to only use two perimeters, try 3 or more.

Wait do I measure the filament that is coming off the top or just how much filament is before the mark.
