ABS smoking!!

    I installed the E3D firmware for the Robo and had one successful print yesterday, however today I tried to just turn the temperature to 210 C and the filament started melting and smoking. What is happening? can anyone help me? I normally print ABS at 225-230C too.

    Are you sure it's smoke and not steam? It offgassing steam isn't uncommon, especially if the filament has been exposed to air for a while.
