Do you know how to figure out an amount of filament any object would use before printing? I would like to estimate how much a printed object would cost me to print.

If you use Cura, it'll show you how much filament will be used along with the estimated cost per print based off how much you paid for your filament.

Is it possible to do it in MatterControl or in Fusion 360 ?

I couldn't find anything in Matter Control and no idea about Fusion 360 but you don't have to use Cura for slicing. If you simply load up your models in Cura, it'll give you the break down for you and can go back to MatterControl for printing and slicing.

Others like Repetier host and Simplify3D will also tell you up front approximately how much filament is needed (even the Cura number is an approximation). Generally speaking the approximations are pretty close to what will actually be used.

Matter control gives an approximate weight in the "layer view".
