Just noticed the option to enable autotemp on my reprap XXL LCD, and after reading up on it I'm curious if anyone uses autotemp with with robo3d and what their settings are.

I have heard of Autotemp but not used it myself.

Basically the principle behind it is if the plastic is moving faster through the extruder, the extruder heat block needs to be at a higher temperature so there is enough heat transfer to melt the plastic faster.

I don't how high the overall flow rate through the extruder needs to be before autotemp is actually useful. I would imagine the feature is more applicable to 3mm filament than 1.75mm and that a fair amount of trial and error would also be required to get the S T F values tuned up.

The feature first appeared in Marlin early 2012 (as far as I can tell).

Doesn't seem to be a lot of discussion on other forums about this feature. This suggests that autotemp is either not very popular (or maybe just not well understood).
