are A4988 and LKB02 same thing ?

    They look kinda different i am not sure if i want to get one that does not match.
    Already lost 4 of them. 2 for no good reason. MKS GEN 1.0 started to smell while i was flashing it and 2 stepper controllers died as a result.
    2 other died when i mixed up wires trying different motor.

    I am not really sure why LKB02 in this listing is $70

    What am i chasing here, brand name or the model ?
    Longruner is the brand here i guess.

    That is a confusing listing you might want to ping the seller. The text talks about DRV8825 but the details say:

    Package Included: 5*A4988 StepStick Stepper Motor Diver Module 5*Heat Sink

    The DRV8825 and the A4988 are similar, but different. You probably want the A4988 so you need to confirm which this is.
