    Here is some background: http://forums.robo3dprinter.com/ind...ight-be-a-switch-issue.3144/page-2#post-27428

I thought autoleveling worked, turns out it was MatterControl all along, hats off to them, their software autoleveling is flawless, I thought the machine was capable of autoleveling because I turned MatterControl's autoleveling off, and the prints were leveled, turned out MatterControl is bugged, it re-enables auto leveling non-deterministically

I've turned the auto leveling of MatterControl off, closed the program, re-opened, printed without the software auto leveling this time, the printer started printing 2-3mm in-air

My conclusion, no such thing as autoleveling, or the setup is somehow very flawed, as a result, I'm unable to use any other program than MatterControl, am I correct in assuming these?

This is false. You can use any software you like as long as it's compatible with the arduino board, which is a lot.

    To name the most popular
    Repetier-Host (Free for basic)
    Cura (Free)
    Simplify3D ($140)

    Your printers dimensions are

    x: 220 width
    y: 254 length
    z: 210 height

use marlin/reprap and 250000 for the baud rate.

I could never get matter controls autolevel to works, but it works for other people so I dunno.

I think MatterControl's autolevel might not be working for you as your device's autolevel is functioning, they are probably interfering / amplifying/doubling the correction

However I've seen no indication that my device autolevels on its own, only MatterControl's autolevel works, and it works perfectly

Where should I go from here?

Don't see it on the UI, where is it, can you possibly post a screenshot?

I would guess it would be on the first page, where the firmware is reported, however there is no update button or notification there
