    hi ,
i just got my printer 2 days ago and i am having some difficulties getting the printer to respond .
i followed the getting started manual on youtube :

when i conected the USB in to my PC and press connect it did get connected and when i tried moving the motors nothing happened , also when i tried heating the extruder it didnt heated .
i tried switching the power on and off and also to unplug the printer from the wall and i was able to get it to connect in the repetier .
this make me think that maby the power supply is not working .
what do you think ? how can i check this ? will the ROBO 3D team will take responsebility for the bad power supply?
    FYI
i am from israel and the voltage here is 230, the printer was set to this voltage from the first time i got it .

one more thing, i also have a problem with the slic3r settings and whould like some help :
    http://forums.robo3dprinter.com/index.php?threads/cant-save-settings-in-slicer.1526/

i am dying to try my first print , please support .

    thx :)

Did you hit home before you tried moving the motors? Before the motors will accept manual control moves they must be homed first.

How do you know the hot-end wasn't getting hot?

    update .
i just checked the power supply with a Multimeter.
and it does infact get 230V in the entrance and gives 0V in the exit .
also i noticed their is a LED on the power supply and it does not Lights up.

You might try moving the voltage selector from 230 to 115 and back to 230 again just to be certain the switch is solidly in the correct position. If it were (somehow) partially in position you would get nothing out (just like your symptoms).

Then I think we are safe to say that the P/S is dead.

Just got it today and look like a same problem here.
No sign of light from the power supply, the LED not even brink at all.
Everything look fine until i try to test the motor and it not respond.

Did they replace you a new power supply?
