E3D Wear Resistant Nozzles

    E3D has just announced a new hardened steel nozzle for printing abrasive material (like carbon fiber filled filament). Here's a link to the blog post announcing it: http://e3d-online.com/is-carbon-killing-your-nozzle

    I expect to have a few of these in stock in a few days for US customers, but you can preorder now . If anyone wants to call dibs on one, let me know. I'm also planning on having a bunch at Makerfaire NY in September.

    psst. they also fit on the stock robo hot end, the hexagon.

    Someone should drop them a line about including it as standard on the BigBox printer.

    I'll put that bug in their ear. If you're a backer, you could certainly send them a message and ask for one of these instead of the extra nozzle reward or something.
