    Hi

I was doing a print and suddenly the extruder dropped, started dragging on the part I was printing, and before I could stop it, it pulled the extruder farther out of the holder and it is now about 1/2 way out and sitting at an angle. It doesn't look like anything is broke but need to know what might have happened, how to fix it and what to check to see if there is further damage.

Pictures would be appreciated. Is your hotend fan running?

make sure it didn't get tweaked at all. a bent hotend could cause jams in the future.

I have had that happen. It can be hard to tell when you have the extruder properly screwed in till you get the hang of it. Make sure the extruder is seated before putting in the screws.. then slide them in and give it a wiggle and a yank. It can fool you.
