I'm having a little problem here. I just cleaned out a jam in my nozzle and when I manually turn the gears to spit my filament out, it does it nice and smooth. However, when I go to print, nothing is coming out. I'm printing in ABS, if that makes any difference. Any help is appreciated!

Is it just when starting? Set up to print a skirt. It will print an outline around the part and prime the nozzle.

Yeah, I got it doing that. It spits nothing out at all. All the skirts I've done in the past have had a small layer of plastic as the perimeter. It was doing that even into the main print.

It could be too low. Is your extruder spinning? What temps?

Yeah, the extruder is spinning (that's the gears right?) And the temp is set at 235 and 80 for the bed.

Probably too low then, is the nozzle dragging on the glass?

It does look pretty low. It's not scraping against it or anything, but it's really close to the glass.

What should I set it to? I think it's set to zero right now (whatever the factory settings are)

Try to manually extrude via software and see if it extrudes

That should be in the EEProm settings, right?

It extrudes with the software, but Mike may be right. I need to figure out how to change my z offset.

Make it really high just to test if that's the issue.
