Started getting the Firmware Non-responsive error on my R1. Happened two prints in a row around 10 hours into each print the printer just freezes up with this error. Between the first and second time, I changed out the USB cable hoping that it was the issue, but to no avail.

This is a fairly new printer as it was purchased last December and has worked rather "flawlessly" this whole time.

Well if it continues then ruling out the cable only leaves the Arduino as the culprit.
You might want to reload the stock firmware just to make sure that it is not a glitch in the firmware itself.
Just be careful to use the correct firmware since there are 3 different varieties (one for the pre-R1 beta, one for the R1 and one for the R1+) since each of the printers has slightly different hardware.
