I put on the v2 r1 firmware. Now when I go to home the Y axis, it won't home! It just moves +10.

What firmware EXACTLY did you put on?

What kind of printer do you have? If you have an R1 does it have a cover on the bottom? Smooth rods that run to the top lid? Hexagon hot end or black j-head?

I have an R1 with a smooth cover on the bottom. I don't know the difference between hexagon and black j head. But it is black and there is no hexagonal structure on it.

I put on the RoboR1V2 firmware. I was reading throughout the forums and found a link to Auto_Level_7_17 and it now works great. Sorry to bug you.

When they talk about the hexagon hot end, they're referring to the hexagon shaped heatsink above where the plastic comes out. Not sure what the job head looks like.

Glad you found the right firmware.

The Hexagon is an all metal hotend, apart from the silicon sleeve, and the J Head hotend is not all metal.
