Little issue I need assistance with.

I just watched the "getting started video" (brought my speakers in today) I am at the part where you insert the filament into the printer. I cut the filament on an angle (like was suggested in other threads) however it seams the filament is being stopped before it reaches the extruder. I am using PLA, the extruder is set to 210 C and yes it is on (i touched it).

Can someone help me? is there a special way to insert the filament?

There's a catch or 2 as you go into the nozzle. I try and straighten my filament out by hand before inserting it. If it helps estimate on the side when you're fully inserted then just carefully try and get it that far in. If you're pushing too hard and it's not melting pull it back out and try again.

Thank you I got it to work. I shinned a light from below and could not see light. I got a needle and carefully put it down. Styrofoam came out.

    R.Irwin,

Sorry that happened. I haven't heard of that happening before but I definitely see how that could happen. Thanks for getting to the bottom of it (literally!).
