So... last night i was happily printing this nice cube which was for me one of the 1st prints where i really though ahh ok, im starting to make some progress here.... and then this morning totaly the opposite! 2014-01-29 16.02.01.jpg

Head ache after headache having loads of trouble with the extruder, the cog is turning and nothings coming out of the nozzle, standard robo medium settings basically, then went to print a bolt hobber thinking that might be the problem "robo medium with suport" (wow thats got some fast settings on it) I ran it it didnt work turned it down did this a couple more times until it was able to keep up with its self though ah ok this is going well then nothing coming out of the nozzle again give the extruder a little squeeze and it fires back up again... bore od this happening i upgraded the springs thinking that might solve it...

Note to everyone don't do a spring upgrade!

Hobbed bolt looks in perfect condition not worn badly (i really have hardly used the printer)
Re built and fitted the e3d just in case all looked fine not blocked att all

Same issue if you bump the temps 10 degrees (210/200)?

The thermistors are not hugely accurate so feel free to play with the temps to see what works. Once I find a number that works for a given spool it usually stays the same (and I just jot it on the spool)

Temps were 200 190 but now 215 205 for best result with PLA

I often do not drop the temp for the successive layers. It is spool specific.
