Greetings from the Wilderness

    Hail! I am in Cumberland, VA, about halfway between Richmond and Charlottesville (and a little to the south). I just ordered my Robo3d from Amazon, along with an LCD and entirely too much filament. My primary purpose in buying a fabricator ("3d printer" is just an inadequate term) will be the e-Nable project, though I have a few household applications in mind as well.

    My first run will probably be the scan of Rodin's Caryatid Who Has Fallen Under Her Stone, mostly because I'm a Heinlein fan.

    Welcome, my wifes side is from Hampton and some live up in Farmville (yea, really).

    Seriously? Three tractor trailers full? I am impressed.

    I'm about 25-30 minutes north of Farmville. And yeah, the jokes fly.


    LOL, I got eleven rolls-- white, black, red, blue, green, pink, purple, gold, silver, glow-in-the-dark, and transparent red. Actually twelve, but I mistakenly ordered 3mm for one order of Transparent.
