So my heated bed stopped working and I flipped it over to check the connection to only see that the connector under the bed has been completely fried. It got so bad that it burnt the connected and melted both ends together. I was wondering what caused this and how I repair this problem. The printer still works with the heated bed feature turned off so if anyone can help me out i would love to have my heated bed back.

All over the forums. Use the search and you can read through the threads that discuss this.

If you are fixing it yourself then you need to remove the connector. It should be a direct wire from the heater to the RAMPS.
I would start by contacting Robo3D and see if they can't help you with a ribbon cable style upgrade.
