    Hey guys,

Just figured I would post this for anyone who has this hotend installed. Since it is a bit taller than the stock hotend it obviously removes a small amount of available travel from the Z axis height envelope. I found out exactly what our limit is: 200mm. The vase pictured below is 200mm tall and as you can see the smooth rod is just under the top of the X axis bracket and the threaded rod is flush with it. I was worried when this print was getting near the end, but I'm glad I pushed it because now I know the hard limit. You could probably print a very small amount taller; technically you could print up until the nut inside the X axis bracket is at the top of the threaded rod, but once you go past the top of the bracket your sturdiness, and therefore accuracy, declines exponentially as the bracket travels upwards.
