Hi everyone. I've been interested in 3d printing for years. I finally decided to buy one for my son and I to play with when I stumbled across the RoBo3D on kick starter. I kind of wanted one NOW but decided that I could wait if it meant helping a few guys from San Diego get their dream launched. So now that my printer is in the process of being born, I had better get started learning how to model things.

I'd really like to make models of tank skids from work. I have the models from our design but don't think the complex geometry with lots of horizontal pipes will work without support substrate. I definitely plan on making RC airplane parts though.

It is going to be a fun journey.
