Solved help... wire came off

    I have been printing fine for the past few months, and today my print suddenly stopped before finishing. I realized one of the wire combos were let lose (pictures below), in which i believe is the thermometer cable as MatterControl displays temperature at 0 at all time and preheating the extruder doesn't seem to change the thermometer's reading either. please help.. :(

    ^ the x-axis wires seem to be fine so don't think it is the x-axis wires.

    Measure the resistance across the thermocouple.

    Remove the rubber boot by sliding it over the heater cartridge and putting the thermistor back in the hole then sliding the boot back over making sure the thermistor stays in the hole.
