Help with installing 1st gen printer

Hi all, I ordered one of the first gen printers back in November of 2014. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I was never able to install the printer once I got it. I finally got around to trying to install it but I cannot get it to connect to my Win 7 box. First off the video does not cover the printer I have. There are features and options that simply do not exist on the model I have. Also, the software that you download from the website will not work either. I tried following the instruction in the manual that tells you to download repetier-host and manually configure the printer, but I can never get the software to see a com port. Windows 7 Devices and Printers sees a Taurino ATmega 2560 but it has a yellow exclamation next to it. Do not know what drivers to install. Anyone know of a faq or video that would help?
