Hi from Spain.

    Hi everyone.

    This is Manolo from Hispapanels. New to 3d printing too and impatient to know about the new possibilities of this technology.

    I will use the printer to build customize pieces for flight simulation.

    Hi.

    I received my printer yesterday. Good news!!: it was already assembled. Bad news: customs=220 euros :(

    There is a transparent piece placed on top the printer with a hole for a screw. What is it for?

    probably the filament spool holder good luck with the printer and dont forget to ask if you have question we can get you up and running

    you should a a plastic dowel with it that holds the filament in place. it looks like they forgot it but check through all the bags and wrappers in the box to make sure you did not miss it or misplace it.

    Soupa is correct there should be an acrylic dowel of sorts it attaches to the first piece and then the whole fit on one of the sides and yes it is to hold filament

    But, must be something installed at the other end? There is nothing more in the box than screw drivers, filament samples and allen tools.

    I believe that is all pressure from the printer pulling in the filament will keep the filament spool away from the end
