So I just had my Robo R1+ on its side to upgrade ramps board cooling fan. Got it on and back together. Went to test print and my hot end was nearly at temp when suddenly the temp indication began to fluctuate rapidly from 0 to 195. After just a few seconds it read 0 with no more fluctuation. I shut the machine off. Let the hotend cool. Turned it back on and it reads 0. If I preheat, it doesn't change from 0 and the hot end is not hot to the touch.
At first I figured it must be that the thermistor has a faulty connection or has gone bad. But then I thought if this were the case wouldn't it still heat up since it is reporting 0 degrees? So is the problem with the thermistor or heat cartridge? Or both?

Nevermind, it was the connector at the carriage.

As Rosanne Rosanadana said "It's always something."

For future reference none of the temperatures should read zero -- room temperature, yes... zero -- no.
