Hi everyone. So I just received my Robo 3d R1 Plus yesterday and I immediately downloaded and install the drivers/Program for the Arduino, MatterControl was installed and connected and I printed a calibration circle no problems. Then I started it up the next day and my Heated build plate says the temp is 354C. After reading the the forums and calling ROBO i came to the conclusion that the thermister is bad, no problem I will print with out it with PLA, but the HOTEND does not preheat nor does the temp rise above 23-24C. I looked underneath thinking something came undone but everything was tight. HELP PLEASE. Was really excited to start printing......

Sounds like more than the thermistor.
Wiring loom has issues or the RAMPS board itself.

Dump us out a copy of the entire GCode console log from a session where you booted it, connected and it is failing.
We might find some errors in there to narrow it down.

You may also need to disable that thermistor if the firmware has the thermal runaway detection enable because that thermistor is reading far too high.

Yep. Maxtemp means you are not going to be printing.

Disconnect the thermistor from the ramps and see if it goes to zero... then at least you are able to print

Just be sure to get Robo3D to replace what is broken under warranty.
