how do i cut a model in half??

    I see a nice dragon head i would like to slice in half to print right and left sides.

    want to assemble them around some cables running into the wall in the garage.

    I have used 123d design to made basic shapes and cut in half.
    But it freezes and becomes unresponsive when i try to load a model from thingiverse.

    Windows 10's "3D Builder" works wonders for that.

    I use Netfabb free edition (its a trial of their pro version, but then you just use non licensed version after that if your cheap like me :D )
