On some prints my first layer is lifting and have been trying to figure out why and was wondering if anyone had suggestions? I am using PLA temp 210 bed @ 60 using glue stick also.

What brand/type of glue stick are you using? Your first layer looks nicely squished.

Try Aquanet hairspray or one with equivalent ingredients. Spray on a room temp bed, heat to 60C for a moment to dry and print at 50c.

Thanks I will try that I am using Avery Glue Stick. I had tried hair spray before though. I cleaned everything off the bed and wiped it down with 50%Isopropyl alcohol, and put a layer of glue stick down again and tried one more time. Still had 3 small spots lift but wasn't bad enough for me to cancel the print.

You want a gluestick with either PVA or UHU.

I'm not sure what Avery uses but it wasn't indicating either of those.

3D printing is a big part chemistry. It's not just "gluestick" or "hairspray", it's the active chemical in these products that makes things tick.

Try just the gluestick without heating the bed. That has worked fine with all my PLA prints.

I been using Aquanet from day one, settled on 218*C / 50*C and never had a problem with PLA.
