LCD velleman kit for ROBO3d ?

    I'm looking for in forum about informations af LCD, And I don't find it.
    I try to post here, sorry if it is not the best place to do it.

    I'va seen vellman lcd controller on kit.
    I would like to know if it is compatilbe with robo3d ?

    They don't give any information, so it's impossible to say.
    The stock Robo firmware has the Reprapdiscount Smart controller enabled.
    If you happen to be in the US, I carry them in my shop.
    Outside of US, it is best to order these directly from reprapdiscount.com. Get either the smart controller or the XXL smart controller. The Full graphics smart controller works, but you need to make some changes to your firmware.

    I would not recommend the velleman controller for the Robo as a plug n play LCD controller.

    The website indicates the velleman LCD controller has been designed for the K2800 model printer and it is clear from the photo of the controller that the flat cable connection is different to that needed for the Robo.

    +1 Printed Solid's advice. Personally I think the Reprap Discount Full Graphics Smart Controller is the best even though you do need to reflash the Robo firmware to include the graphics functions.
