I'm not sure if this is the printer or maybe I need new glasses, but it seems that a print which is round and 31mm high has an ever so slight lean to X0. Is this something anyone else has experienced?

No, and I have printed some tall ones.
If it really is offset maybe a loose belt or drive gear.

I agree with Mark. A tall print should be straight all the way up. If it is angled or off then it was most likely a loose belt or drive gear. Also could be a possible overheating ramps board that caused it to miss a step. Check all of these things.
