The downside of the Viki controller is that it has no standard config. So, even though the packaging of the Viki is fantastic compared to the RRD display, it does not have easy conections. Sadly, the pin selection by chosen for the Marlin and Repetier firmware distributions is sub-optimal.

As a result, I've configured mine with the following pinout. This is a pinout which allows for a good pin aggregation.

    S Chip Select 53 Red
    DI MOSI 51 Blue
    CD Card Detect 49 Yellow
    BTN Reset Button 44 Black
    CLk SCK 52 Green
    D0 MISO 50 White

    +5 + Red
    SDA 20 Blue
    ENCB 42 Yellow
    GND - Black
    SCL 21 Green
    ENCA 40 White

You can see my aggregated pins on the bottom right of this photo:

NOTE: When printing from SD card on the Viki, the obvious solution of pressing the center button will not work and you will be angry. You will need to highlight the file on the LCD and then press the little black pause/stop button to start the print.

You should not need to do any soldering. The female header cables that came with the Viki are sufficient to make the right connections.

NOTE: Look in the config.h file for the link to the liquidtwi2 library. Without this library, you cannot compile the firmware.
