Solved Matter Control could not connect to printer

    I was using my pc to connect to my ROBO 3D R1 printer. Today I use my laptop but totally could my connect the printer. There is no printer for my to select at all. Please help.

    I'd make sure you have the correct port selected as well as the baudwidth correct on the lap top. I cant recall how you go about doing this in matter control but you could always use the start up materials they provided for the laptop install and just pretend it is a brand new printer. This will ensure you will have the correct drivers for the printer and matter control will be an outdated version but thats an easy fix :D.

    You didnt get any of that material on your sd card that was included with your printer ?

    It should be posted on the robo site under documentation

    Ok, I reinstall the matter control (another version), now can connect to printer.

    Matter control was always glitchy like that for me. I went with cura for awhile then bought simplify 3d. I suggest giving cura a go. Its free and alot of people love it :)
