Unresolved MatterControl Unable to Connect to Robo R1+

    Hello,

    I recently unboxed and had a 2-3 year old R1+ running fine through MatterControl on Windows 10 Home.

    Last week, however, the printer stopped working with MatterControl. The Select Printer button says "STATUS: Not Connected". When I try to connect, a dialog box titled, "MatterControl - Connect to Printer" opens but is blank.

    I tried to reinstall MatterControl without success. Both the original software that came on an SD card and the more recent version downloaded from the Robo3D site. Also tried swapping USB cables.

    Suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance!

    Try a different host program (there are other free ones -- repetier host for example).
    Rule out the software before we look at hardware.
