educated guess around 240c for a peek hotend.

    from the jhead wiki http://reprap.org/wiki/J_Head_Nozzle

    "
    Notes:
    1. PEEK nozzle holders have a maximum working temperature of roughly 248 degrees Celsius. Due to many variables, it is highly recommended that this temperature is not to be approached. Above this temperature, PEEK will melt and the hot-end will fail."

You should not heat above 230. Heating above 230 risks the chance of ruining your hotend. 240 is the melt temp of the PEEK and if you do anything above 230, and your thermometer may read slightly lower than the actual temp, you could end up melting it. 230 should be the 100% max temp you use.

ok question harry and robo team( more for the robo team)

why is the max temp for the hot end set to 2 75C in the marlin robo firmware? (not that i would ever go that high with a peek hot end)
seems like it should be lower if the max temp of the hot end is 230c.

Hey Cambo, what questions are you wondering? I told them I would send them to this and they implemented it (at least they told me they were going to be implementing it for all other printers to be released.
