Musical Printer

    My printer sings while it goes along, changing pitch in curves. I like it but I wonder if it is supposed to do that or does it need a good lube job.

    Nema stepper motors make a lot of noise. It's perfectly normal.

    Could be a nice callenge to print something useful such that the motors play a real song ^^

    the first time you hear the Nema motors it's very jarring. But the noise/musical tones are normal. In fact, you'll start to get a groove on with longer printers, and freak out when it starts printing a new feature.

    Noisy was my first CNC mill with Nema motors; You could hear that beast upstairs. O_O

    I love the sound mine makes while printing, its like a little calibration song.

    I made my very first print last night and my wife side it sounded like the printer was yodeling. :)

    i always thought mine sounded like i had kidnapped r2-d2, especially when it does curves
