Solved Need to fix beta model heat bed wiring. How?

Basically what the title says. This wire became disconnected and I need to reattach it.



I just want to know what I can and shouldn't dig into. Originally I was going to cut the larger black outer coat (Maybe heat shrink tubing but not shrunk?) and find the black wire and solder it beck. I'm not sure if that's the right way of going about this.
