    Hi,

I have had my Robo3d R1 printer for about 5 years now, and always had trouble getting the filment to stick on the bed, especially on the left side of the bed. So after trying a bunch of stuff i have concluded it's time to try to replace the bed.

Which new bed would you recommend for a Robo3d R1 ?

    Thank you :)

+The cheapest route would be to go down to your local hardware store and get a piece of plate glass to cover the bed, iIf you replace the bed, you will need a new heater since the existing heater will not be removeable. My suggestion is look at the threads in the Mods for the Aluminum bed replacements others have done, it spreads heat better than trying to find another borosilicate glass bed. You still need something on top of the Aluminum, like a build surface sticker or the cheap glass I previously mentioned.

    Hi

I will try to find some glass to cover the bed first, if that doesn't work i can experiment with the aluminium bed :)

    Thank you
