I've had this for almost 2 wks now and I've yet to print anything consistently. The following links show my results. I've tried MatterControl and Slic3r slice engines and I'm still getting poor results...a couple of things:

I'm wanting to print objects that are long and skinny (5" long X 1/3" wide). The base layer comes out looking great and at times the bottom layers look good too. Then when the infill begins is where I start getting problems. Forgive my verbage but the layers almost look like pancakes stacked. It only continues getting worse.

Can anyone please help me. I'm running out of patience.

    Side notes:
    1. Using Makerbot PLA which I read was some of the best ($45 for 1 kg).
    2. I've slowed everything down and am trying to run .2 layer height.

Definitely a case of under extrusion. Is your hot end cooling fan working correctly (assuming you're using the Hexagon)?

    From who? Makerbot? lol
