    Hi,
I watched the video getting started and realized it's better to prep the plate first before preheating.
I am having trouble printing with my sample PLA.
    1. the spool likes to move a lot on the holder and if I don't watch it, it would go sideways or get stuck.
    2. According to the video both the bed and extruder needs preheating but I realize the PLA is a soft mess on the bed like melted cheese. It doesn't look right.
    3. Sometimes the filament won't extrude but comes out to the side of the plastic gears.
I get a feeling that the intro video is a bit off.

How hot are you printing? How hot is the bed?
Technically you do not even need the bed heated for printing PLA.

Again you could be printing too hot, but that can also be a clogged nozzle. See the thread about seasoning and oilers as well.
