not leveling rite ?

hi all got my printer last week first time using a printer to yayy, so complete nob here.

i have the recent 2014 version and am having trouble with the levelling attached video.
it touches down about 3,4 times on the lefts goes strait to the rite corner and touches then back to the back left again skipping.

and i red that you are not suppose to go through the automatic print configure with the paper? but no matter what i do it insists that i do it.

i have matter controll 1.1 installed and the arduino drivers/software? settings are pretty much on default atm.

hope this makes scene lol its a bit early.

Yeah that looks normal. It will do the automatic print leveling wizard at the start of each print. I'm not entirely sure what you question is.

From the video is seems like your x carriage isn't very level. If you move the nozzle side to side does it stay a consistent distance from the bed

 

oh, just that watching some earlier videos it did the levelling in in all 9 points front front middle and back so i assumed this wasn't rite somehow.

nope its not constant pushes down slightly when moving it.

 

yeah it's fine, the firmware defines 9 points. Matter control forces 3

one more thing about prints not sticking and blobing? is that a word. together, is it simply a matter of twisting the rods up and down untill you get it rite or is there some trick to it.

i guess i should be reading the forums first to

using the good old blue painters tape

 

make sure when it probes it does so on the tape otherwise it won't print at the same level. I prefer hairspray.

Just gotta adjust your offset until it's correct.
