Solved Now what?!

    Printed a beautiful piece that took nearly 30 hours. Started another print and now mattercontrol cannot find my printer or says its not operating. unplugged the printer, restarted computer and mc and got the same response. Any ideas?

    Well, either the COM port changed on you, the USB port or cable is bad or there is something glitched with the arduino

    Try another cable (seriously ... that helps more often than not).

    You can also try connecting to the printer with something other than MC... like maybe the Arduino IDE :)
    Just to see if there is something awry with MC...

    Thanks for the hrlp. Ended up deleting all the COM ports and restarting the computer.
