I installed the E3d v6 upgrade on my robo 3d r1+ I then installed a hardend .4mm nozzel but when I extrude 10mm of filament it is measuring .62mm. I know on my FlashForge Creator Pro the MK10 nozzle when I do the same thing it measures .4mm. Is there something I need to look at to fix this or should I just set the nozzle size to .6 in S3d. It seems like it is over extruding. It was also doing this with the nozzle that came with the E3D v6.

    disclaimer:
Measuring the filament after extrusion can be tricky since some filaments types shrink and others swell. A pin gauge is the correct way to accurately measure the hole size.

All that said though it is a decent ballpark estimate and shouldn't be that far out (50% is a lot of swell). :)
I did have one 0.4 that measured 0.6. I just adjusted the slicer to know it was really 0.6 and life was good.

As far as over extruding, calibrate the extruder.
