Hi! I am having problems stopping and pausing a print from the LCD screen I have installed on the printer. When pausing, the printer continues to print as if nothing had happened. When stopping the printer continues to extrude for some seconds, moving off in an unexpected direction (such as into an end-stopp) before finally cancelling the print. Is there a way to fix this?

That's actually normal operation. When you send a command like pause it gets injected into the g-code sequence. It has to finish any commands already send before the pause command was sent. This is to let the printer know where it was in the g-code to resume afterwards.

With a stop command it tells everything to stop, so if the printers in the middle of the command it will attempt to finish the command before stopping. It usually works well but sometimes it does weird things like that.
