    Hi all,

So recently my printer has been printing amazingly and all was well then I noticed one day that my PLA fan wasn't spinning. I ignored the problem for a while because it wasn't really affecting the quality of my prints but I finally have the time to try and fix it. I made sure my wiring was solid and used the multimeter to discover that there wasn't any voltage going to the fan. I checked the connections both where it draws power on the RAMPS board and the wiring by the fan and neither have any voltage going to them. Not sure where to proceed from here.

How exactly do I sanity check it with giving it 12V? Do you mean just moving the wires around do a spot?

Move the wires from the RAMPS fan connector directly to the 12v coming to the RAMPS from the power supply (or connect it to any 12v source you have)

If the fan spins then it is the RAMPS.

Sounds good, I'll give this a shot when I get home later today.
