Solved Pla filament warping before extrusion head

    I put pla into the robo for the first time today and the filament makes it to the extrusion head and comes out a slight amount but when I use the gears to extrude it somehow it melts above the extruder and stops it from pressing through . [​IMG]

    I already posted a response in the other thread.
    Is your extruder fan running (full speed)? Not the one that blows on the printed parts, the one attached to the side of the extruder?

    I dont think it was running at all im away from home now . Should it be running while pla is being warmed in extruder . If so how do I adjust that setting .

    There was a piece of abs wrapped around the fan from the inside . How unlucky . It was jammed not spinning . Pulled it out now going to test the pla again
