Hey everyone, so I was printing a tool holder, and running it at a fast speed and it cut the filament to much and wasnt extruding anymore, so I turned it off cleaned it and redid the filament. Its working again now, but I have a half finished project and I would like to be able to finish it. However I'm not sure if I can make a program start halfway through a print and pick up from where it left off. Do I have to restart?

    Thank you

In theory if you knew exactly what layer the print stopped at you could go into the g-code file for the print and delete all the layer info up to that point and cross your fingers.

In reality add the filament to the recycle bin. I find i'm very environmentally conscious as I recycle a lot.

It's not worth the hassle. Just start over.

I've heard of people doing it by measuring the height and using the method stephen describes, but it's a chore and generally not worth the effort put in.
