I just received my robo 3d and i have done all the settings in repetier like stated in the beginners guide and in the video.

But when I click on the "Home" buttons in "Print panel" the printer doesn't move at all. (like shown in the video: Video

    Mac 10.8.5
    Repetier 0.56

    1. Changed voltage to 230
    2. downloaded repetier
    3. adjusted the extruder height
    4. plugged in the usb cable (green LED flashes and stays turned on)
    5. Changed all the settings

Did you make sure the printer is connected to repetier? If you click the "heat Extruder" and "Heat Printbed" Do they heat up?

    < 19:33:55: start
    < 19:33:55: echo: External Reset

Hello, did you make sure that the printer itself it on? That seems to be the issue, you can usually connect to the printer even if it is off.

I have some cable issues as well I would recommend not using a hub or extensions or anything else go directly from the computer to the printer.I ended up having to go buy a longer USB cable and no problems after that
