Any trouble shooting tips would be welcome. I was helping my son print a plant cell model for a school project, and after about 2.5 hours of printing printer suddenly stopped. The blue LED went out as well as the fan. It just died. I am not sure if it overheated something or if a fuse has been blown, not even sure if there is a fuse.

    Any help is much appreciated.

If the whole 12v shut off but you can still communicate with the arduino it's probably the sign of a short circuit that blew the fuse. Check all the connections, especially the one for the bed heater

When did you get your printer?

Hi Mike. I got the printer in May from the Maker Faire. I think it was a new model with all the latest upgrades at the time. I'll have to check and see if it is still able to communicate with the arduino. It looked pretty dead to me last night though. Is there a fuse in the power supply? I'll also check all the connections.

    Thanks

There is a fuse on the switch itself.

The arduino will work right off 5v without 12v power. Lemme know.
