    Hello all,

I have been having issues getting my custom .stl files to print correctly. Matter Control slices them just fine, but when it comes to the print it says it only mere seconds to complete and what it attempts to print is not at all what I have designed. It simple makes a few turns while extruding and then stops and rings the bell. I have printed many other designs that are not my own, just can't get my first one going. Any help would be great, thanks!

    Try repairing it in netfabb.

Thanks, I will look into netfabb...Just now I got it to print the design, but still have not figured out the support material setting...does it build it automatically based on demands or after I select it, do I have indicate where it needs to be?

It will generate support based on the angle of change. You don't specify anything, just tell it to generate or not.
