I'm using Matter Control with a Robo printer. I want to print 4 identical small objects? Can I instruct the printer to print all of them at once?

Yes, if the slicer supports it. Some allow you to load the same STL multiple times and position each on the bed where you like and then slice and print. I use Simplify3D but I imagine some of the free/open-source ones do this as well. Someone else can probably comment on MatterControl -- I have not used it.
