A couple nights ago, I had removed the stock hotend on my R1+ to unclog it. Everything went well; I was able to use a touch to burn the debris out of the nozzle. But like an idiot, I overtightened the nozzle while screwing it back in, and snapped it off at the threads. RIP hotted.

I'm installing a replacement, the same one as stock (Hexagon). Do I need to apply thermal grease anywhere, e.g. to the thermistor? And generally, are there any guides for doing this on the Robo3D? I've found some great references for upgrading to the E3D, but not for just replacing the stock hotend.

Should be very similar in installation methods, there is not a lot of difference between hotends. Thermal paste not needed.

I personally LOVE the E3Dv6 I replaced my Hexagonal with one.
I've never had a jam.. ever... except.. one roll of filament that was out of tolerance and returned.
